Marist recognizes that Transfer Students have different needs and varying levels of college experience. Transfer Orientation helps students become familiar with the people, programs, and possibilities at Marist. Participants will interact with students, faculty and staff while discovering more about the College and themselves. The program is designed to prepare Transfers for the next chapter in their educational journey.
New Transfers will receive a letter in mid-August inviting them to participate. The program provides a unique blend of activities designed specifically for students who already have attended another college or university while also integrating Transfers into the Welcome Week Program for all new students.
Fall 2008 Transfer Orientation begins on August 31st with ongoing Welcome Week activities occurring thru September 6th.
