IBM Desktops and Laptops are available for you to purchase at educational pricing. Full-time employees are eligible for a one-time 20% discount off the purchase of a computer and you can pay for it through payroll deductions. If you have been employed at Marist for one year, you can take the payments for one year, if you have been employed here for two years or more you can take the payments for two years. Employees can purchase a second or third time and take advantage of the payroll deduction benefit but the 20% discount only applies the first time.
You can also apply your faculty development funds toward this purchase with the approval of your dean.
Adjunct faculty can purchase from the Computer Store but the discount and payroll deductions are not available to you.
