What is the tuition for graduate students?

Graduate tuition for the 2007-2008 academic year is $665 per credit hour.

Is financial assistance available?

Need-based financial assistance is available for matriculated students in the form of loans and scholarships. For consideration, students must complete the FAFSA. For specific questions concerning financial aid, you may visit the Office of Student Financial Services or call (845) 575-3230. You can also download the latest version of Marist's Affordability Guide for graduate students which provides useful information about financial aid, grants, scholarships, loan programs, and so much more.

Does Marist College offer assistantships to graduate students?

Yes, there are some assistantships available; students must apply through the department to which they are applying.

Does Marist College offer residential housing for graduate students?

Unfortunately, Marist College does not have housing for graduate students.

How are the courses formatted?

Courses at Marist are designed to fit the unique needs of our students. Marist offers both part-time and full-time coursework in the evening and on the weekend. Online courses and programs are available as well.

How do I obtain my books if I am completing an online program or course?

Textbooks can be ordered online through the Marist College bookstore. Delivery is free for Marist students.

What is the G.P.A requirement for graduate school at Marist College?

Most of the graduate programs at Marist require students to achieve a 3.0 cumulative undergraduate GPA based on a system in which a 4.0 is equivalent to an A grade.

Are there standardized tests required?

Students are often required to take either the GRE (Graduate Record Exam) or the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) depending on the program they plan to pursue.
