Eric on the Metro North going on a Marist NYC Trip

How did you choose Marist? At first glance, I saw that Marist had a wide variety of majors, which was ideal for me because I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to pursue. Once I visited the campus, I fell in love with the school. Also, the size of the campus is on the smaller side, which was something I cared a great deal for. Lastly, I felt very welcomed by both students and faculty. I knew Marist was the right place for me.

Weekend Activities: Marist has a lot to offer when it comes to the weekends. On campus, you can attend sporting events, rent movies from Student Activities, or attend plays in the theater. If you're not in the mood to stay on campus, there is still plenty of things to do nearby whether it is going to eat at the many restaurants along RT 9, shopping at the Poughkeepsie Galleria, or going to see a concert at The Chance club or the Mid-Hudson Civic Center. Marist also offers weekend trips to different places, such as Six Flags Great Adventure or the city to see a Broadway show.
